2007 Stats

We currently maintain 220 sites, with several still waiting to launch. 227 sites are currently listed on our VIP page, but 7 are projects maintained by the editorial department.

Out of the 220 sites:

  • 139 were updated at least once this year (63%)
  • 133 have been migrated to Dreamweaver (60%)
  • 92 have CSS layouts (42%)

When we obtained Adobe Web Premium CS3 in June, I had a goal: convert all the sites from GoLive to Dreamweaver in one year. Looks like I am on target to reaching it. I will let you know in June 2008.

I believe that has distracted me a bit from converting the sites to CSS layouts, however. I hoped to have half the sites moved to a CSS layout by now. Oh, well. No need to cram all the cake in my mouth at once. :)

So, 2008’s goals are these:

  1. All web sites migrated to Dreamweaver by June 2008.
  2. 200 sites using CSS layouts instead of tables.
  3. Minimum of 2 web sites successfully using a CMS.*

*Definition of successful: the site has officially launched, the client’s staff is updating their web site without any major issues. Which two sites are first is still up in the air. The current best candidates are: American Angus Auxiliary, Cotton & Associates, Web Services, and Oklahoma Angus Association.
